Short-cycle welding:

The short cycle welding technique with manual or automatic feed enables threaded or plain studs, dowels, T-shaped and other shapes of studs from 2 to 12 mm in diameter to be welded to steel, stainless steel, refractory steel and in some cases aluminium, brass and titanium supports. Studs with ignition tips as well as short-cycle studs can be welded without using filler metals.

To avoid weld porosity and to improve the weld seam quality, we recommend that inert gas or ceramic ferrules are used for diameters over 6 mm. Welding time is 1 to 1000 ms.
